August Bank Holiday has rolled around for this year and once again it was our biggest event of the year. This year we were at the beautiful Scampston Hall in North Yorkshire and we had a wonderful weekend with a particularly memorable (or in some cases a little hazy!) cocktail party!

Last weekend we had the most glorious time in the city of Chester, taking part in the society’s biggest event of the year over the August Bank Holiday weekend. It turned out to be a really good one and so nice to have such a big event in a city. We are usually at a more rural location for such events so it made a nice change.

It’s nearly time for Newcastle’s biggest event of the year, this weekend our annual August Bank Holiday event is happening in the glorious city of Chester.
The Earl of Manchester’s regiment are organising a fantastic event where the city of Chester will be under siege for 3 days and plunged back into 17th Century life. We are looking forward to getting together with the rest of the Sealed Knot to be part of what’s set to be a great event in the heart of a city full of history.
