Bolling Hall is one of the oldest buildings in Bradford, representing a range of architecture and decoration from the 14th to the 18th Century as new features were added to the existing building over the years..
It also has links with the founder of our Regimente, the Marquess of Newcastle (then an Earl), who famously stayed in the house and reportedly changed his plans for capturing Bradford after a visit and plea from one of the resident ghosts ("Pity poor Bradford").
Newcastle's Regimente of Foote paid our first visit to Bolling Hall in 2010, where we set up camp for a living history camp for a weekend in June. Click here for a review of this excellent weekend. |
